The vegetation around Kanga camp afforded the opportunity to see a lot of birds. For me they aren't as interesting as the mammals and reptiles, but here are a few particularly beautiful specimens. Some Egyptian geese

...and their cousins, the crested kind. I confess that at first I couldn't notice the difference between them

My notes are unclear as to whether this is next photo is of a white-backed vulture or of a singers' manager

The beautiful yellow-billed stork...
