I was sad that on this trip I had seen neither rhino nor the elusive leopard; they are best seen in other countries. But I was anxious to see some African wild dogs, and on my last day I was lucky enough to do so
Notice that one has a tracking collar on. They were quite unperturbed by us, and were determined to return to their lair as briskly as they could. It was fortunate for us that the track on which we were driving would lead them back home
Having killed and eaten (usually impala), they will rush home to regurgitate food not just for their young, but for other adults as well. Notice the blood around their mouths and on their legs
